Platelet rich plasma (PRP) can be used to treat hair loss. The simple process starts with a standard blood draw. The tubes of blood are then placed into a centrifuge to spin the blood to separate the plasma and red blood cells. The platelet rich plasma is then injected into the scalp at the hair follicle level.
